The term "progressive immersion" refers to an app or experience that takes up the entire shared space, whilst integrating the real-world around it.

Depending on the chosen immersion style for an app, the experience may exist as mixed immersion, progressive immersion or full immersion.
Depending on the immersive level that you wish to have within an app (i.e. experience) you may choose between mixed, progressive or full.

Progressive immersive experiences live within the shared space as a single window that allow users to browse the experience through a large floating screen, whilst allowing the real-world surroundings to passthrough the headset.
