New York Music Month (NYMM) is a month-long festival created by the Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment (MOME) to champion NYCs music industry.
MOME worked with delasign to rebrand New York Music Month, redesign the web experience and transform the backend systems and workflows.
This work elevated the way NYMM is presented, discovered and experienced.
New York Music Month (NYMM) was created in 2017 by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) with the purpose of championing NYCs music industry.
Designed for impact, NYMM is a month long festival that kicks off with an annual conference and unfolds into a vibrant program of free talks, performances and over 3,000 hours of complimentary rehearsal space.
In 2025, MOME worked with delasign to transform the NYMM digital experience from the ground up.
Highlights include:
- A new brand that evokes the bold, expressive and urban identity of New York City. Designed to deliver a cohesive identity across all touchpoints, this eye-catching brand boosted engagement and brand awareness.
- A new, striking ADA compliant web experience that augments how events are advertised, discovered and experienced. An overhaul in the information architecture and user experience was core to the new site, and was meticulously crafted to help attendees understand the festival's offering and find sought-after information.
- A new publishing platform built with custom modules that integrate business logic; giving MOME complete control over how the festival is presented and managed.
