Summary

Candid is a sustainable, alcoholic brand targeted at conscious consumers whose material design system creates a bottle-to-bottle recycling system by leveraging chemical recycling. This 100% recyclable materials bottle, removes plastic from the ocean and produces an eternally renewable bottle.

Each Candid bottle's cap holds an NFC that allows users quick, on-demand access to manufacturing information on a website. The blockchain powered website offers transparency into the process of the world's first fully sustainable alcoholic beverage

Credits

In 2018 our Founder, Oscar de la Hera Gomez, was a finalist for the One Club for Creativity's Young Guns'16 competition in the Product Design category. Although he did not win the award, he was elected to partake in the Young Guns x Diageo Brief which aimed to create either a product, brand or advertising campaign that would be of interest to Diageo.

To answer to this brief, Oscar partnered with Ioannis Dimitroulas to form a lean and agile multidisciplinary team, that covered brand, product, experience, marketing and strategy; with the vision of delivering to all three requests.
