Served R/GA to develop the product demo for the Apple Watch Nike+ which can be found in 200 Apple Stores around the world today.
Nike+ is a platform envisioned to bring together the world’s largest running community and whose purpose was to motivate runners to push themselves and compete through its famous Nike Fuel points.
However, four years after the inception of the first Nike+ FuelBand, Nike had fallen behind competitors such as Fitbit, Jawbone and Misfit, whose devices not only tailored to fitness buffs but to the masses.
Questioning how they could elevate the Nike+ Ecosystem and offer it to the general public; Nike’s board - which includes Tim Cook - decided to partner with Apple to create the Apple Watch Nike+ and looked to R/GA, the visionaries behind the Nike+ Ecosystem, to help with its creation.
As part of this adventure, R/GA invited our Founder, Oscar de la Hera Gomez, to create and localize the product demo which today can be found in 200 Apple Stores around the world.
