What is a Emotional Analysis?

Sentiment analysis, which is also known as emotional analysis, is the process of analyzing text, audio and video to determine how your target audience feels about a product, service or experience.
As part of creating, updating, upgrading or building off a product, service or experience (i.e. a creation), companies and individuals often carry out a sentiment analysis to understand how their target audience feels about a topic, territory or creation.
Sentiment analysis is carried out using natural language processing (NLP), vision models and other artificial intelligence frameworks to return a dataset that describes how the target audience feels and to what magnitude (i.e. how strongly they feel).
The results of a sentiment analysis are often used to enhance a SWOT analysis, empathy map, journey map or service blueprint; as they are quantitive and qualitative results that describe the target audiences emotions.
