As part of creating, upgrading or changing a product, service or experience it is recommended that agencies assign a period of time where a client will be serviced with the enhanced support and care to guarantee that everything goes well.

This period is known as Hypercare.

If everything goes as planned prior to the Hypercare, a Hypercare period should involve nothing but silence.

However, this is rarely the case, and agencies and clients should plan for a period of roughly 2-3 weeks where the agency or service provider is on call and is monitoring performance at all times to guarantee that everything goes smoothly.

This period is often recommended to be paired with knowledge transfer as a means of the business to be able to support the new product, service or experience independently after the Hypercare period.
