Design Thinking is an century old practice that was popularized by Tim Brown, CEO and President of IDEO, after he published an article in the Harvard Business Review.
In its essence, Design Thinking:
- Revolves around a deep interest to understand the people for whom we design products and services.,
- Helps us observe and develop empathy with target users.
- Enhances our ability to question the problem, assumptions and implications of the problem space.
- Involves experimentation through sketches, prototypes, testing and trials of new concepts and ideas.
