An alternative hypothesis, or Ha, states that there is statistical significance between two variables.

Writing a problem statement clearly (i.e. a Hypothesis) along with what makes it significant (i.e. meaningful or of value) is fundamental to scientific research and advancement and are quintessential to the creation of any product, service or experience.

An Alternative Hypothesis is the part of the problem statement that describes what makes the results significant, whilst the Null Hypothesis is what makes the result insignificant.
