What is a Scene in Spatial Computing?
In augmented reality (A/R), virtual reality (V/R) and mixed reality (M/R), the term "scene" refers to the entire digital world, or one of many, that is available as part of the experience.
A scene refers to the digital world, or one of the many worlds that is available (i.e. a level within Mario) and all of its elements (i.e. geometries, models, objects, lights) that are available to a user as part of augmented reality (A/R), virtual reality (V/R) or mixed reality (M/R) experiences.
This scene is offered to the user through the computer's (i.e. smartphone, tablet or laptop) viewport and can be explored by moving around the real-world, which changes the position and angle of the computer's camera.
Scenes are constructed in similar ways to environments.
