Generative Interfaces, also known as Generative UI or GenUI, are interfaces that leverage a design system and AI to dynamically render content based on context.

OpenAI's revelation of the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) shook the world, and with it came a new era of design paradigms for interfaces.

One of the paradigms that has surfaced is known as Generative UI and is currently best demonstrated by Brain.ai's Natural AI app (video below).

In its current form, GenUI makes use natural language processing (NLP), which can be described as understanding text or voice, to determine the intent of a user and from this leverage a design system to generate a user interface that responds to the users demand.

Another example of Generative UI is Google's Gemini experiment below.
