What are CFRs?

Oscar de la Hera Gomez
A flower that represents Project Management with the text “CFRs: Conversation, Feedback and Recognition.” beneath it.

CFRs stand for Conversation, Feedback and Recognition and were created by Andy Grove during his time as CEO of Intel in the 1970s.

As part of the creation of OKRs, Andy grove created CFRs as a means of helping organizations lift up leaders, teams and individuals.

CFRs were introduced to me through John Doerr's Measure What Matters and stand for Conversation, Feedback and Recognition.

CFRs are aimed at continuous improvement as well as creating a culture of impact, clarity, commitment, courage, openness and respect.

A way for companies to achieve this is through Scrum and its key ceremonies.
