How to calculate a Market Value

A three step process for determine the market value of a product, service or experience.

Step One: Determine the Market Size

In order to know how much a product, service or experience (i.e. an initiative) is worth, you must know its market size.

Step Two: Determine the Price Point

Use the research that you used to determine the market size (i.e. the competitor analysis) to determine the price point for the initiative.

Step Three: Calculate

The market value is equal to the market size x the price point.
